The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Query dives in and grabs Grant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Grant pushes down on Query's head and hops out.
Query ducks under a wild hook from Grant.
Grant slips a jab from Query.
Grant throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grant digs a good hook to Query's body.
Query throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Grant shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Grant throws a series of punches but Query avoids them all with ease.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Query takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
