Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Drop it like it's hot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bundy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Silva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bundy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Silva connects with a decent elbow.

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bundy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silva stands up and beckons Bundy to his feet.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bundy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bundy was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Bundy moves out of range easily.
Silva connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bundy. Bundy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bundy did well to prevent Silva getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva cracks Bundy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Silva has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bundy's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bundy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bundy defends it well.

Silva jumps guard and drags Bundy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bundy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bundy has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
Bundy wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bundy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bundy to his feet.
Bundy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bundy wants it to stay on the feet.
Bundy's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bundy duly obliges.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
