Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaun Marco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulo Costa looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marco fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Costa avoids it really well and circles away.
Costa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Marco should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Costa tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Costa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Marco is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Marco trying to control but Costa is working from the bottom.
Costa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Marco is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Costa is working an open guard so Marco takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Costa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Marco misses with a takedown attempt - Costa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marco.
Marco slips a straight right by Costa.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Marco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Costa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marco somewhat.

Marco shoots in looking for a takedown. Costa tries to sprawl out of it but Marco keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Costa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Marco counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Costa controls Marco momentarily but Marco frees himself.

Marco drops back looking for a leg! Costa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Costa manages to kick Marco off! Marco jumps back into Costa's guard.
Marco wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving.

Marco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Marco drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Marco seems to have locked his on tight now - Costa screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Marco, as he picks up the win!
