Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanly Manly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thiago Mendes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mendes doesn't manage to clinch there - Manly circles away.
Mendes scores with a nice strike.
Mendes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Manly misses with a takedown attempt - Mendes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mendes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Manly should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mendes uses his free foot to push down on Manly's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Manly.

Mendes jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Manly is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Manly and Mendes has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Manly tries to buck Mendes off but Mendes is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Manly rushes Mendes and presses him up against the cage.

Mendes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Manly fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Manly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mendes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manly has managed to get both his arms back between Mendes's legs - danger averted.

Manly drops back looking for a leg! Mendes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mendes manages to kick Manly off! Manly jumps back into Mendes's guard.

Mendes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Manly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Manly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Manly is pushing down on Mendes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mendes is fighting to maintain full guard but Manly has managed to sneak the leg through.
