The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Matejic.
Matejic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Matejic misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Matejic is defending well.
Matejic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Matejic has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silva but great work by Matejic.

so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Matejic dives on top into guard.

Silva drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Silva seems to have locked his on tight now - Matejic screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Silva, as he picks up the win!
