Mies has chosen Can't be touched as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka thuds his right hand into Mies's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mies defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silakka.

Mies pushes Silakka up against the cage in a clinch.
Mies prevents a takedown attempt there.
A right handed body shot lands from Mies.
Mies fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Silakka pulls Mies into guard.

Silakka looking for a guillotine here but Mies defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mies is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Silakka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mies's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mies decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mies throws a nice inside leg kick.
Silakka throws a looping overhand right but Mies ducks down to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mies connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mies avoids the body shot from Silakka.
Jab from Mies.
Silakka looks to land a combination but Mies avoids it well.
Silakka is breathing heavily.
Silakka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mies circles away quickly and effectively.
Silakka blocks a jab.
Silakka fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timo Silakka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silakka looks to throw the jab but Mies is out of range.
Silakka blocks a head kick by Mies.
Mies dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silakka. That did some damage!
Silakka moves out of range of the body kick.
Mies turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mies scores with a jab to the jaw.

It looks like Timo Silakka has been cut.
Timo Silakka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mies has managed to clinch.
Silakka tries for a takedown. No joy.
A shot in the inside from Mies.
Silakka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Mies working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Silakka is rocked!
Mies cracks Silakka with a nice body shot.
Oh Silakka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mies lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Silakka to his knees! Mies keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
