Creed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gale circles away quickly and effectively.
Creed throws a hook but Gale blocks it.
Gale showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Creed.
Gale looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Creed is fending him off so far but Gale persists. Nope, Creed circles away and we're back to standing.
Gale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Creed's waist but Creed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gale off to one side.

It looks like Andy Gale has been cut.
Gale shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Creed sprawls well. Creed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gale gets slowly back to his feet.
Apollo Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Gale.

Creed rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gale moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gale changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Creed tries to avoid it but Gale manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Creed to the ground. Creed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Creed closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Gale! Creed dives in looking to finish! Gale is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
