Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Battle Hymn of the Republic. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke throws a hook but McGuire avoids it easily.
McGuire closes the distance and clinches up with Clarke, looking for a takedown. McGuire pushes Clarke against the cage but Clarke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Clarke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clarke avoids a punch combination nicely.
McGuire throws a right and a left that Clarke avoids nicely.
Clarke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuire manages to avoid it.
Clarke misses with a straight left.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from McGuire misses the target.
McGuire moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Leo Clarke has been cut.

McGuire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clarke moves away.

No joy there for McGuire, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGuire throws a right and a left that Clarke avoids nicely.
McGuire on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Clarke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Clarke uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McGuire has time to react.
Clarke scores with a nice head shot.
Clarke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGuire looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Clarke closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McGuire to the mat! McGuire manages to get full guard.
Clarke stands up over McGuire, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

McGuire is rocked!
Clarke lands a couple of elbows.
Oh McGuire is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clarke postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! McGuire covers up, he's hurt! Clarke keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Clarke and the ref steps in to end the fight! Clarke can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
