PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hashim Al Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hits From The Bong. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Al Hassan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bong fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

It looks like The Bong has been cut.

Bong drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Al Hassan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bong has Al Hassan in his guard.
Al Hassan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
