Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Outspan Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Collin Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Outspan Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Collin Duffy!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foster rushes Duffy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Foster wants a takedown but no success here.
Duffy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Foster gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Duffy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Foster's elbow.
Duffy is trying to force a seperation but Foster has the dominant position.

Foster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Duffy slips a jab and a cross from Foster.
Nice body punch from Foster.
Duffy looks gassed!
Foster scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Collin Duffy has been cut.
Foster ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Foster shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Duffy is looking for a sweep. Foster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Foster looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duffy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Foster is controlling the pace.
Duffy is looking to escape.
Foster is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Duffy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Foster seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Foster is looking to advance position but Duffy won't allow it.
Foster landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Foster is taking a breather. Duffy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Duffy is looking to improve his position but Foster isn't that keen on the idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Outspan Foster just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Foster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Outspan Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duffy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foster controls the pace.

Foster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duffy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Foster looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Duffy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Foster was covering up waiting for the punch and Duffy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Foster trying to keep a closed guard but Duffy is proving a slippery customer.

Foster is working an open guard so Duffy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Foster throws a series of punches but Duffy moves out of range.

Duffy closes the distance and pushes Foster back into the cage.
Duffy tries a body shot but Foster blocks it.
Duffy is trying to break the clinch but Foster has him pressed against the cage.

Duffy jumps guard but Foster stands there with Duffy around his waist. Duffy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Foster drops down looking for an ankle pick but Duffy pulls his leg out and moves away.

Foster shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Duffy is trying to defend but Foster finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Duffy is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Outspan Foster will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Foster shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duffy sprawls well. Duffy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Foster gets slowly back to his feet.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster scores with a sloppy right hand. Duffy should have avoided that one.
Foster tries to clinch there but Duffy circles away.

Foster stands up and waves to Duffy to follow him.

Duffy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Foster walks away with a smile on his face. Duffy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Duffy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Foster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Duffy postures up in Foster's guard and throws a big left but Foster blocks it.
Outspan Foster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Duffy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Foster is trying to control the position but Duffy postures up.
Foster is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Foster looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Duffy manages to get to full guard.
Outspan Foster is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Foster wants to control from the top but Duffy keeps moving.
Duffy is looking to stand up but Foster isn't so interested in that idea.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Outspan Foster.
Well Foster has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
