PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Bicket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Bicket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Freddy Samson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicket shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Samson as he avoids it easily.
Samson fails to land with a series of punches.
Bicket misses with a looping right.
Bicket could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bicket avoids the head kick by Samson.
Bicket throws a lazy head kick

and Samson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bicket won't be happy with that.
Bicket is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Samson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Samson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Bicket wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Bicket is looking for a sweep.
Samson staying calm.
Bicket wants to control but Samson postures up.
Bicket is looking to reverse the position.
Bicket tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Samson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bicket is trying to stand.

Samson wants to finish this one by submission but Bicket is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Samson.
Samson lands a heavy elbow.

It looks like Kyle Bicket has been cut.

Samson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bicket hang on?
Bicket knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Samson on the ground.
Samson is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Kyle Bicket's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kyle Bicket's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
