Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Menjivar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz has chosen Stranglehold as his entrance music. Frito Ortiz struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Victor Menjivar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menjivar lands a left and a right that send Ortiz crashing to the mat, dazed. Menjivar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Frito Ortiz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Menjivar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ortiz takes a swing at Menjivar's ribcage but misses.
Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Menjivar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Menjivar slips under a jab.
Ortiz looks gassed!
Menjivar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Menjivar lands a big head kick that sends Ortiz tumbling to the mat! Menjivar takes a step backwards and waves Ortiz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ortiz is rocked!
Menjivar grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Ortiz takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Menjivar cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Victor Menjivar!
