PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Preston Broadus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hacky Sack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sack has chosen Sweet home alabama as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadus misses the jab.

Sack instigates a clinch.
Broadus landing knees to the head.

Sack turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sack manages to end up in side control.
Broadus is trying to buck Sack off.

Sack is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Broadus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Broadus is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Broadus trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Sack cracks Broadus with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Sack lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sack advances nicely into full mount.
Sack lands a big shot there that rocks Broadus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Sack lands with some strikes.
Broadus wants to try and get back to his feet.
Broadus is breathing heavily.
Sack working the ground and pound effectively.

Sack is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Broadus is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Broadus flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sack anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Broadus and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sack slips an arm under Broadus chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sack has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sack is squeezing on Broadus like an anaconda would it's prey. Broadus fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
