The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heinaluoma tests Hammersmith's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hammersmith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Heinaluoma is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammersmith.
Heinaluoma throws out a loose jab but Hammersmith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Eero Heinaluoma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammersmith shoots for a takedown but Heinaluoma saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hammersmith shoots in and bounces Heinaluoma off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hammersmith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hammersmith had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Heinaluoma is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hammersmith Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Heinaluoma's back instead.
