The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Jong moves in looking to clinch but Arabi pushes him off.

Arabi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

It looks like Frank Arabi has been cut.
Mike de Jong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
de Jong connects with a stiff jab that staggers Arabi - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
