Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donal McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and butch springfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

springfield fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McGuire, pushing him back against the cage.

McGuire drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGuire jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McGuire postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! springfield is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McGuire, into his guard.

McGuire has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. springfield is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McGuire.

That's time! McGuire's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well springfield has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
