The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russel looks to land a left hand but McMorrow moved out of range nicely.
McMorrow throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Russel on the side of the head.
Russel defending well as McMorrow loads up on a big left hand.
Nice defenses there by McMorrow.
McMorrow's corner calls for a 1-2. McMorrow obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Russel tests McMorrow's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Sean McMorrow has been cut.

Russel cracks McMorrow with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Russel has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McMorrow to stand back up!

McMorrow is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Russel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fighters circling - McMorrow throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McMorrow throws a shot from downtown. Russel moves away and avoids it.
Russel swings for the body but McMorrow moves out of range.
Russel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Russel there as he acknowledges the shot.
Russel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McMorrow is fending him off so far but Russel persists. Nope, McMorrow circles away and we're back to standing.
McMorrow keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Russel.
McMorrow throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Russel on the side of the head.
Russel tries to move into range but McMorrow moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McMorrow scores with a crisp jab that stopped Russel in his tracks.
McMorrow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Russel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Russel looks gassed!
Russel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Good shot there by McMorrow.
Sean McMorrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McMorrow steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Russel is out on his feet! McMorrow sets himself and nearly takes Russel's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
