Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and darren Mcminty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade shoots in but Mcminty avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mcminty doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Wade counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wade trying to control but Mcminty is working from the bottom.
Mcminty keeping full guard, as Wade tries to pass.

Wade is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Wade drops back looking for a leg! Mcminty is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcminty manages to kick Wade off! Wade jumps back into Mcminty's guard.

Wade is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wade wants to control from the top but Mcminty keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mcminty gets the takedown into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wade sneaks back into half guard.
Wade is looking to control Mcminty's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wade avoid being mounted?

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wade looking for submissions off his back.
Wade trying to control from the bottom.
Wade regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mcminty.
Mcminty tries to stand but Wade is controlling from the bottom.
Mcminty landing with the ground and pound.

Mcminty avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mcminty loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Wade working for a triangle but Mcminty defends it easily.

Wade looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mcminty throws a strike but Wade rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mcminty is looking to stand up but Wade isn't so interested in that idea.

Wade drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mcminty dives on top into guard.

Mcminty stands up over Wade, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Mcminty got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wade has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcminty has managed to get both his arms back between Wade's legs - danger averted.
Mcminty working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wade's head.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mcminty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mcminty is sitting in close to Wade's body. Wade has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mcminty is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mcminty is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wade.
