Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dick Mamabama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Bakunin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamabama comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke Two Joints by Sublime. Dick Mamabama has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakunin shoots in and drives through. Mamabama sprawls well.
Mikhail Bakunin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bakunin fails with a takedown attempt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bakunin.
Mamabama is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mamabama prevents Bakunin from improving position.
Bakunin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mamabama keeps working.

Bakunin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mamabama rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bakunin's guard! Nice work there by Mamabama!

Mamabama pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bakunin is keeping the position for now.

Bakunin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mamabama is aware though and is defending well.
Bakunin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mamabama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bakunin.

Bakunin shoots in and bounces Mamabama off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Mamabama wants to get back to his feet but Bakunin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mamabama wants to sweep here but Bakunin controlling him for the moment.

Bakunin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bakunin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mamabama swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mamabama wants to sweep but no luck.
Bakunin works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Bakunin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mamabama won't allow Bakunin to pass to mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mamabama works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bakunin looking to sit in guard and control but Mamabama gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bakunin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mamabama stacks Bakunin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mamabama!

Mamabama is looking to slow Bakunin down with leg kicks.
Mamabama lands with a nice combination. Bakunin backs away looking to recover.
Mamabama misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mamabama. That's going to slow Bakunin down.
Mamabama goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bakunin is defended easily by Mamabama.
Mamabama lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mamabama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bakunin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mamabama's waist but Mamabama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bakunin off to one side.
Mamabama moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Bakunin is rocked!
Bakunin is breathing heavily.
Mamabama dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bakunin is still on wobbly legs! Can Mamabama finish him?

Mamabama rushes Bakunin with punches - Bakunin moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Bakunin goes down! Mamabama follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
