Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Giroe Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giroe Leon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Crane!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane has a takedown stuffed.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crane is defended easily by Leon.
Crane is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Leon.
Crane shoots for a double leg takedown but Leon sprawls well. He's pushed Crane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Giroe Leon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Crane.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Crane.
Leon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crane.
Crane shoots in but no luck this time.

Crane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leon looks to land a right hand but Crane moved out of range.
Crane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

A jab from Leon finds it's way through Crane's defenses.
Leon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leon jabs Crane right on the nose. Crane blinks but takes it well.
Leon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Crane slips a straight right by Leon.

Crane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crane showed some decent athleticism there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leon wants to get back to his feet.
Crane passes to side control.
Crane trying to control the action but Leon is working from the bottom.
Leon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leon tries to get out of the position.
Leon stops Crane from passing to mount.

Crane is trying to get an arm triangle but Leon is defending well.
Crane looks gassed!

Leon is trying to buck Crane off.

Crane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Leon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Leon pushes Crane away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Crane gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leon pushes Crane away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Crane gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Crane is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Leon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Leon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Crane is controlling him well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but James Crane will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Crane shoots in for a double leg but Leon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No joy there for Leon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Crane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Leon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crane.
Horrible takedown by Crane or perhaps it was just good defense by Leon which made him look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Leon looks to land a combination but Crane avoids it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crane.
Crane shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Leon defends it nicely.
Crane takes a jab right on the kisser.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Leon looks to throw the jab but Crane is out of range.

Crane has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Leon finds it's way round the side to connect with Crane's head.

Crane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leon throws a shot from downtown. Crane moves away and avoids it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Crane tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crane is defended easily by Leon.
Leon lands with an uppercut that bounces Crane off the cage and back into rage.
Crane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Crane moves in looking to clinch but Leon pushes him off.
Leon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Nice takedown defense from Leon. No joy for Crane on that attempt.

Leon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jab, jab by Leon - just one landing.
Crane tries for a takedown but Leon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crane is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Leon connects with a right hand. Crane shakes it off.
Leon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Leon.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Leon throws a jab but it's blocked by Crane.
Leon throws a series of punches but Crane moves out of range.
Crane fails with a takedown attempt.
Leon throws the left hand but Crane avoids the punch easily.
Leon connects with a nice looking jab.
Nice takedown defense from Leon. No joy for Crane on that attempt.

Leon throws a nice looking combination but Crane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Giroe Leon showed his dominance in that final round.
