Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Royce Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemp misses with a body kick.
Kemp thumps Rua with a low kick.
Royce Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rua fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kemp lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rua misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Rua.
Rua wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kemp, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kemp manages to get back to half guard.

Rua is looking for a kimura here.
Rua is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kemp sees it coming and defends easily.
Rua is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Rua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kemp is just riding it out for now. Rua eventually gives up the hold.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kemp lands a big head kick that sends Rua tumbling to the mat! Kemp takes a step backwards and waves Rua back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Royce Rua has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid body kick from Kemp.
Kemp buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rua steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kemp. That one must have hurt.
Kemp lands a big head kick that sends Rua tumbling to the mat! Kemp takes a step backwards and waves Rua back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rua is rocked!
A head kick by Kemp - that's a beauty! Rua is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kemp can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ross Kemp!
