Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Tainaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power comes to the cage accompanied by Fabolous, 50cent, Mase - Breathe Remix. Tainaka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: BATTLE FUNKASTIC. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tainaka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Power stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Power uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tainaka.
Tainaka keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Power misses with a low kick.
Tainaka scores with a jab. Power acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tainaka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Power at a distance.
Power stuffs the takedown attempt from Tainaka. Tainaka gets slowly back to his feet.
Power tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tainaka is able to avoid easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tainaka throws and elbow that misses. Power uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tainaka's guard. Nice move by Power!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Power working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tainaka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tainaka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Power is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tainaka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Shinji Tainaka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tainaka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
