Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Fedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teixeira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Monster I have Becomed kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira leaves Fedro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Teixeira shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Teixeira goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fedro turns into him and now he's in Teixeira's guard.

Teixeira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fedro's guard.
Teixeira drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fedro manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Teixeira has Fedro in his guard.
