The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Russo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
ORiley connects with a solid leg kick.
ORiley takes a swing at Russo's ribcage but misses.
ORiley lands with a kick to the temple. Russo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
ORiley throws a series of punches but Russo moves out of range.
ORiley lands a nice leg kick that just misses Russo's sensitive parts.
Russo fails to land the takedown.
Russo shoots in for a double leg but ORiley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Russo swats away the attempt to clinch by ORiley.
ORiley fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Russo.
ORiley feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Russo's calf.
Russo throws a sloppy head kick
and ORiley counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
ORiley blocks a head kick by Russo.
ORiley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
ORiley throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Russo's head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by ORiley.
Russo is breathing heavily.
ORiley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
ORiley scores with a jab.

ORiley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
ORiley scores with a push kick.
ORiley lands a nice shot to the body.
ORiley is looking to clinch.
A jab from ORiley does it's job there.
ORiley feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Russo's calf.
This has been an exciting period of action!
An inside leg kick lands from ORiley.
Russo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

ORiley pushes Russo up against the cage in a clinch.
ORiley lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

ORiley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

ORiley drives through and clinches with Russo against the cage.

ORiley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
ORiley tries to clinch up.
ORiley throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Russo stumbling backwards into the cage! Russo bounces back off the cage towards ORiley, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! ORiley lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! ORiley celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
