Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bush has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bush is breathing heavily.
Baker passes into half guard.
Baker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baker lands with a punch from half guard.
Baker lands strikes from half guard.
Baker passes to side control.
Baker staying calm.
Bush takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bush is working to avoid the ground and pound but Baker connects with a decent elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Baker in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Bush might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bush is working to avoid the ground and pound but Baker connects with a decent elbow.


Bush is rocked!
Bush takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Bush is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baker is putting a hurting on Bush here, landing some big shots from side control.
Bush is letting Baker control him for a moment.

Bush tries to bench press Baker off him but Baker keeps the position.
Bush seems to have got his legs back now.
Baker looks up at the clock and then as Bush takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Baker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Baker is landing with some decent strikes but Bush is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Baker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bush is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Baker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Baker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Baker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bush looks a forlorn figure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baker wants to finish this one by submission but Bush is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Baker.

Bush keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Baker has hold of Bush's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bush manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bush regains half guard.

Baker lands with a punch from half guard.
Baker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Baker passes to full mount!
Baker lands a big elbow.
Baker controlling from mount.
The referee warns Bush that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Baker lands a heavy elbow.
Baker looking to control but Bush is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Baker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bush can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Baker dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Baker drives through and clinches with Bush against the cage.
Bush is pressed up against the cage. Baker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bush down to the mat. Bush avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Baker breaks the clinch.
Baker lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bush can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Baker and Bush drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Baker.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Baker!
