Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Blackmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucky Kid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blackmore!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kid scores with a takedown into Blackmore's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kid stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blackmore swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kid passes Blackmore's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kid looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Kid wants to advance to full mount but Blackmore doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Kid prevents Blackmore from getting back to his feet.
Kid wants to control from the top but Blackmore keeps moving.

Blackmore wants to stand and escape but Kid is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Blackmore wants to clinch up but Kid keeps it at a distance.
Blackmore moves in looking to clinch but Kid pushes him off.
Blackmore tries to close the distance and clinch but Kid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blackmore doesn't manage to clinch there - Kid circles away.
Blackmore throws a right hand that Kid ducks under and follows up with a left that Kid also avoids with ease.
Blackmore throws a head kick that misses.
Blackmore has his takedown stuffed
and Kid counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blackmore won't be happy with that.

Kid tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kid passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Blackmore!
Blackmore looks gassed!
Kid tries to control but Blackmore wriggling away.
Kid lands a nice shot to the head.
Kid trying to control but Blackmore is having none of it.
Kid throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Kid is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Blackmore is surviving well by controlling Kid's body position as best he can.
Blackmore is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kid tries to control but Blackmore wriggling away.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kid wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blackmore keeps working.

Blackmore pushes Kid off looking to stand but Kid dives back in and keeps control.

and Kid counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Blackmore is trying to stand.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kid works to advance to full mount. Blackmore defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kid is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Blackmore has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Blackmore!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Blackmore wants to stand but Kid is controlling his posture from full guard.

Blackmore trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kid manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Blackmore manages to get himself to full guard.
Kid won't allow Blackmore to get back to his feet.
Kid wants to pass the guard but Blackmore is keeping the position.
Kid is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Lucky Kid overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kid can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blackmore is looking to escape.

You get the feeling that Blackmore really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kid working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kid won't let Blackmore get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Kid has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Blackmore doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kid counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blackmore won't be happy with that.
Blackmore is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Kid is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blackmore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kid works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Blackmore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Lucky Kid just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Kid shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blackmore's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kid accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kid drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Blackmore dives on top into guard.

Blackmore wants to stand but Kid has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kid manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kid can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blackmore is looking to escape.

Kid wants to finish this one by submission but Blackmore is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kid.

Lucky Kid is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Kid has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
