Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Jurczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dish Water (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dish Water has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mariusz Jurczyk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dish Water!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurczyk lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Water scores a takedown into full mount!
Water controlling the pace for now.

Water looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Water looking to control but Jurczyk is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jurczyk is looking to improve his position but Water isn't that keen on the idea.
Jurczyk is squirming around, avoiding Water's attempts to control the action.
Jurczyk wants to control but Water is having none of it.

Water working for a guillotine from mount but Jurczyk is in no mood to give up.

Water is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jurczyk can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jurczyk is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Water's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Water's back!

Water really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Jurczyk's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

Water just trying to survive but Jurczyk is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
I really don't envy Water right now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jurczyk tries to get the hooks in deep but Water pushed the leg off.
Water looking to control the position.
Jurczyk lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Jurczyk keeps control of the position as Water tries to break free.
Water grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Jurczyk lands punches and elbows.
Water tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Water wants to hold on but Jurczyk pushes him away.
Water might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jurczyk kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dish Water just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jurczyk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jurczyk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Water counters with a single leg into guard. Jurczyk didn't expect that.
Jurczyk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jurczyk is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Water won't allow Jurczyk to sweep him here.

Water drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Water jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jurczyk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Water is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jurczyk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Water throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Dish Water has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jurczyk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Water has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jurczyk has managed to get both his arms back between Water's legs - danger averted.

and Water counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Water has hold of Jurczyk's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jurczyk manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dish Water showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jurczyk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Water's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
