The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyoto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morales tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kyoto paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Morales swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kyoto.
Kyoto tries for a takedown but Morales sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Morales tries to clinch but Kyoto is having none of it.

Kyoto closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morales did well to prevent Kyoto getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kyoto is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
