Maciel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Castillo!
Castillo is looking to get to half guard.

Maciel moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Castillo has worked his arm free - good work by Castillo!
Castillo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Maciel wants to pass to mount but Castillo is defending the position.
Castillo wants to get back to full guard.

Maciel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Castillo is looking for a sweep. Maciel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Castillo is refusing to be controlled, as Maciel sits in half guard.
Castillo is positioning himself well to prevent Maciel advancing to mount.

Maciel is looking for a kimura but Castillo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Maciel to get the leverage.

Maciel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Castillo sees it coming and defends easily.
Castillo is trying to get back to full guard.
Castillo is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Maciel missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Castillo is working for a rear naked choke. Maciel is not defending it well and Castillo has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Maciel refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Maciel's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
