Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy closes the distance and clinches up with Hanson, looking for a takedown. Guy pushes Hanson against the cage but Hanson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hanson moves into the clinch successfully.

Hanson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Guy regains guard immediately.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hanson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Hanson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Guy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hanson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hanson!
