Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Mughes or perhaps it was just good defense by Ronan which made him look bad.

Mughes darts in and clinches Ronan up against the cage.
Mughes tries for a takedown but Ronan manages to get underhooks.
Ronan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mughes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Mughes taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Ronan pressing his opponent against the cage.
Ronan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Mughes breaks the clinch.
Ronan stuffs the takedown attempt from Mughes. Mughes gets slowly back to his feet.
Faustino Ronan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hatt Mughes.
Mughes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ronan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mughes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ronan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ronan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A punch lands to the side of Mughes 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mughes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ronan counters with a straight right hand.
Ronan scores with a nice right hand.

Mughes is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Ronan. That's going to slow Mughes down.
Mughes looks gassed!
Ronan tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Whack! Ronan lands a heavy head kick that drops Mughes. The ref tackles Ronan to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mughes was done.
