Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hudd feints and as Rockhold raises his hands in defense, Hudd changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hudd shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rockhold sprawls well. Rockhold wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hudd gets slowly back to his feet.

Hudd closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rockhold escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hudd gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hudd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rockhold is fending him off so far but Hudd persists. Nope, Rockhold circles away and we're back to standing.
