Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Stalin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Trude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Trude's choice of entrance music: Till I Collapse. Joseph Stalin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Stalin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stalin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stalin is looking to clinch.
Trude will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stalin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Trude. Trude circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Trude dives in and grabs Stalin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stalin pushes down on Trude's head and hops out.

Stalin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Trude stacks Stalin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Trude!

Trude throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Stalin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stalin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Trude remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Trude is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trude can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Trude is nestled in close to Stalin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Trude really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stalin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trude shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stalin pinned against the cage. Stalin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Joseph Stalin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Trude fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stalin sprawls well initially but Trude persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Trude looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stalin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trude is fending him off so far but Stalin persists. Nope, Trude circles away and we're back to standing.
