Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dante Lucien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucian Bute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucien comes to the cage accompanied by Kiss - All Hell's Breaking Loose. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Lucien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bute avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bute shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lucien manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bute distracts Lucien with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Lucien is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bute.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A combination from Lucien does no damage.
Lucien throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bute misses with some ground and pound and Lucien recovers position to half guard.

Bute swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lucien is now in Bute's guard. A big mistake from Bute there, giving up the dominant position!
Bute had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lucien defends it easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lucien tests Bute's chin there with a solid looking shot.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well Bute has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
