Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evgeny Drakul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Snorx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evgeny Drakul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mathew Snorx!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snorx lands a jab to the nose.
Snorx avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Snorx scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Drakul wants to clinch.
A combination from Snorx does no damage.
Drakul ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Snorx tries to clinch up.
A left lands for Drakul.
Snorx misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drakul.
A looping hook to the body misses from Snorx. Drakul does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snorx moves in looking to clinch but Drakul pushes him off.
Drakul is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Drakul throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Snorx was covering up waiting for the punch and Drakul finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Drakul wants to control from the top but Snorx keeps moving.

Drakul got a little sloppy there for a moment and Snorx has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drakul has managed to get both his arms back between Snorx's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drakul has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Snorx looking for a guillotine here but Drakul defends easily.
Drakul is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Drakul seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Snorx for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Snorx is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Drakul is aware though and is defending well.

Snorx is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Drakul defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drakul slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Snorx has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Drakul is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Snorx.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Drakul shoots in for a takedown but Snorx shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drakul unloads a knee to the mid-section. Snorx lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Snorx is trying to force a seperation but Drakul has the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Drakul is pressed up against the cage. Snorx has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Drakul down to the mat. Drakul avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Snorx throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drakul.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Snorx takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A punch combination from Drakul misses.
Drakul connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Snorx works over Drakul's head and body with a nice combination.
A punch lands to the side of Snorx 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Drakul gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Snorx tries for a takedown. No joy.
Evgeny Drakul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mathew Snorx.
Snorx fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Snorx throws a punch but it's blocked by Drakul.
Drakul gets through Snorx's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Snorx lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drakul circles away quickly and effectively.

Drakul passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Snorx!

Drakul fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Snorx avoids it really well and circles away.
Snorx steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Drakul.
Drakul bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snorx's head.
Drakul slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mathew Snorx is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Drakul shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drakul showed some decent athleticism there.

Snorx tries to get to full guard but Drakul has control of the leg.

Drakul seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Drakul moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Snorx has worked his arm free - good work by Snorx!

Drakul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Snorx has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drakul can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Snorx takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Snorx can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Drakul controls the pace.
Drakul wants to control from the top but Snorx keeps moving.
