Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tane Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. it was over kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thompson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thompson.
Thompson throws a nice looking combination but Carter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thompson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Thompson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Carter.
Carter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Thompson.

Thompson stalks Carter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carter's face. Carter staggers backwards, shaken.

and Thompson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Thompson counters with a nice uppercut.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Carter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thompson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Carter had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Thompson throws a nice inside leg kick.

Thompson slips under a jab.
Thompson clinches up against the cage.
Carter tries to throw a body punch but Thompson avoids it by throwing Carter back against the cage.
Thompson presses Carter against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Thompson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thompson scores with a push kick.
Thompson rushes Carter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Thompson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stan Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter misses with a combination
and Thompson counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Thompson moves into the clinch.
Thompson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Thompson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thompson scores with a jab to the head.
Thompson looks to land a combination. Carter sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Carter missing with a left hand there. Thompson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thompson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Carter stumbling backwards into the cage! Carter bounces back off the cage towards Thompson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Thompson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Thompson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
