PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waldo Irby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monster Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Monster Mann was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Irby. Mann shrugs it off though.

Mann jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Irby walks away with a smile on his face. Mann gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mann might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Irby has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mann uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
