Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Return of the Mack. Pete Reed will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker throws a body kick that misses.
Walker looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Reed thows a body shot but no joy.

Walker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Walker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Reed has momentary wrist control but Walker slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reed wants to sweep here but Walker controlling him for the moment.
Reed keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.

Reed uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Reed fails in his attempt to clinch.
Walker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Walker lands a nice hook to Reed's body. Reed takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Walker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reed is trying to defend but Walker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Reed is looking to improve his position.

Walker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reed with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Walker thows a huge punch but Reed dodges it nicely.

Reed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reed punishes Walker's body with a nice straight punch.
Walker is looking to land body kicks.

Reed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reed looks to land a right hand but Walker moved out of range.

Reed lands a jab to the nose.
Reed scores with a sloppy right hand. Walker should have avoided that one.
Reed misses with a series of wild punches.

Reed shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Walker shoots in and bounces Reed off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Walker works over Reed with some ground and pound from guard.
Reed pulls Walker in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Reed keeping full guard, as Walker tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reed throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Walker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Reed's head.
Reed controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
Walker lands a couple of elbows.

Walker passes Reed's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Walker is trying to control. Reed wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Walker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Walker is trying to control the action in half guard but Reed is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Walker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reed's head.

Walker is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reed has managed to free his arm - good work.
Walker is keen to just control but Reed is a slippery customer.
Reed keeping hold of Walker's head, controlling as best he can.
Reed manages to get to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reed wants to stand but Walker is controlling the position.

Reed throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Reed is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Walker landing with the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Reed lands a jab to Walker's midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Reed is just out of range.

Walker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Reed wants to get back to his feet.

Walker lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Walker lands a big shot there that rocks Reed but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Reed squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Walker tries to control but Reed wriggling away.

Reed is desperately trying to improve his position but Walker has a good base and remains in mount.

Walker working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Reed looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Walker! Submission of the night perhaps?
