Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Shears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvatore Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shears's entrance music is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. A fine choice. Greco has chosen Bring the Pain - Method Man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Shears!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Salvatore Greco!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shears feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Greco wants to get back to his feet but Shears is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Shears with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Shears won't allow Greco to get back to his feet.
Shears pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Greco is keeping the position for now.
Greco looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shears is one step ahead there.
Greco wants to stand but Shears is controlling the position.
Shears wants to control from the top but Greco keeps moving.
Greco wants to stand up but Shears is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Greco is looking to clinch but Shears is avoiding it.
Shears fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Greco manages to avoid it.
Greco tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Greco 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Shears is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Greco's half guard.
Greco is defending against the submission attempts here by Shears.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greco wants to get back to his feet.
Greco is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Shears jumps into side control!
Shears has an Americana. Greco didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shears is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shears hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
