Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brannigan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with wallace, pushing him back against the cage.
Brannigan lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like austin wallace has been cut.
Nice elbow from Brannigan.
wallace is working for takedown but Brannigan is calmly controlling the position for now.

wallace has Brannigan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brannigan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

wallace tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alex Brannigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of austin wallace.

austin wallace's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
wallace drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brannigan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Brannigan has wallace pressed against the cage. He pushes wallace back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Brannigan throws a beautiful elbow that sends wallace crashing to the floor! Brannigan piles on the pressure with more strikes! wallace is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Brannigan!
