Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett INT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Break by Three Days Grace. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brett INT was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
INT looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as INT sprawls well. INT wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet.
INT misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thomas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but INT swivels and escapes.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch but INT swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thomas shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thomas throws a leg kick which misses INT's front leg but catches the back leg as INT tries to avoid it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Thomas. INT shrugs it off though.
INT connects with the punch.
It looks like Corey Thomas has been cut.
Thomas wants to clinch.
INT looks to land a combination but Thomas avoids it well.
Thomas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. INT did well to prevent Thomas getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if INT can do anything to dispel that myth.
Thomas sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. INT defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
INT is trying to stand back up but Thomas is controlling him
INT is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Thomas trying to control from half guard but INT is working away.
Thomas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
INT won't allow Thomas to pass to mount.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Thomas has taken the fight to the clinch.
INT gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Thomas.
Thomas is breathing heavily.
Thomas keeps the fight in the clinch, despite INT's efforts to push away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
INT tries to break free but Thomas pushes him back against the cage.
INT is pressed up against the cage. Thomas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag INT down to the mat. INT avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A nice combination there by INT.
Brett INT is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
INT keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
INT tries to bum rush Thomas with a series of wild strikes but Thomas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
INT goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
INT moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
INT feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Thomas crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brett INT!
