Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ready to Fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well.

It looks like Ron Fuller has been cut.
Slice shoots in looking for a takedown. Fuller tries to sprawl out of it but Slice keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Fuller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fuller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fuller prevents Slice from getting back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No joy there for Slice, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Slice circles away from the clinch attempt.
Slice takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Slice has momentary wrist control but Fuller slips an elbow through the middle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slice wants to stand and escape but Fuller is having none of it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Slice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fuller circles away quickly and effectively.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Slice here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Fuller slips a jab and a cross from Slice.
Slice looks to throw the jab but Fuller is out of range.
Fuller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Slice counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fuller won't be happy with that.
Slice lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fuller down.

An elbow from Slice crashes against the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fuller wants to control but Slice postures up.
Slice tries to score with some ground and pound. Fuller controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Slice misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Fuller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Slice's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Slice's back!
