Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Kaplan misses its intended target.
Vikstrom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kaplan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vikstrom shoots in but Kaplan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Moishe Kaplan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vikstrom shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kaplan sprawls well. Kaplan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vikstrom gets slowly back to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Vikstrom lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kaplan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kaplan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kaplan throws a lazy right hand but Vikstrom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Vikstrom swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vikstrom throws a solid leg kick but Kaplan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vikstrom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vikstrom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vikstrom cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Vikstrom dives in and grabs Kaplan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kaplan pushes down on Vikstrom's head and hops out.

Kaplan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vikstrom sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kaplan cracks Vikstrom with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kaplan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vikstrom to stand back up!

Horrible takedown by Vikstrom or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaplan which made him look bad.
Vikstrom seems to have recovered his senses.

Kaplan lands a big right hand that sends Vikstrom crashing to the mat! Kaplan stays standing though and waves Vikstrom back to his feet!
Vikstrom tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kaplan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vikstrom somewhat.
Kaplan fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Vikstrom out cold! Brutal finish!
