Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Heath Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Randall Tubzinki!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tubzinki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tubzinki lands in his opponent's guard.
Tubzinki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Palmer wants to stand up but Tubzinki is controlling him.
Palmer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tubzinki passes into half guard.
Tubzinki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Palmer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tubzinki.
Tubzinki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tubzinki is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Palmer has managed to free his arm - good work.
Tubzinki seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tubzinki works his way into side control.
Palmer wants to get back to his feet.
Palmer takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Tubzinki prevents Palmer from escaping the position.
Palmer seems a little lost for a moment, as Tubzinki dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here as Tubzinki stalls from top position.
I looks like Tubzinki might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Palmer bucks up and tries to throw Tubzinki off but instead Tubzinki has got his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tubzinki has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Palmer! Can he survive? No! He's out! Tubzinki gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Randall Tubzinki!
