Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshida Satoru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshida Satoru is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcelo Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshida Satoru!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Satoru drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Satoru wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving.
Bravo is trying to control the position but Satoru postures up.
Satoru tries to free his leg and advance position but Bravo is retaining full guard.

Satoru has gone for a leg lock! Bravo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Satoru's guard.
Satoru has a closed guard, preventing Bravo from standing up.

Satoru has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bravo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Satoru is trying to control the position but Bravo postures up.

Bravo wants to pass the guard but Satoru is keeping the position.
Bravo wants to control from the top but Satoru keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Satoru working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bravo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bravo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Satoru counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bravo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Satoru throws out a powerful jab.
Bravo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bravo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Satoru to score with a decent uppercut.
Satoru tests Bravo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Satoru throws a hook but Bravo blocks it.
Yoshida Satoru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Satoru is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bravo.
Bravo slips a jab and a cross from Satoru.
Satoru lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Satoru looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Satoru is working for a kimura but Bravo is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bravo tries to roll over but Satoru keeps him under control.

Satoru performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Bravo preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Satoru is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Satoru is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bravo!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bravo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Satoru.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo wants to hold on but Satoru pushes him away.

Satoru wants to finish this one by submission but Bravo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Satoru.

Satoru looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Satoru looks gassed!
Satoru trying to control but Bravo is having none of it.
Bravo looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Satoru counters with a nice body shot.

Satoru is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bravo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bravo!
Bravo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Satoru escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bravo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Satoru holds on and takes a little breather.

Satoru is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bravo defends well.

Satoru fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bravo sprawls well initially but Satoru persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's time! Bravo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Satoru counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bravo tries to close the distance and clinch but Satoru swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Satoru shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bravo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bravo wants to stand up but Satoru is controlling him.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bravo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bravo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Satoru can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bravo manages to get to full guard.

Bravo wants to sweep but no luck.

Satoru is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bravo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bravo has escaped and now he's on top!

Satoru bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bravo's guard.

Satoru passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bravo is desperately trying to improve his position but Satoru has a good base and remains in mount.

Yoshida Satoru comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Satoru has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
