Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitake is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hoes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hoes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sitake has Hoes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hoes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sitake tries for a takedown but Hoes manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Sitake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sitake is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hoes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hoes tries to break free but Sitake pushes him back against the cage.
Hoes is trying to break the clinch but Sitake is controlling him.

Hoes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sitake tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hoes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hoes has cracked Sitake with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hoes lands another huge swinging hook and Sitake tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Sitake, before Hoes can land any more shots!
