Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Wittmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diem Suari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wittmann waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Suari.
Suari shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wittmann sprawls well. Wittmann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Suari gets slowly back to his feet.
Suari tries to clinch but Wittmann moves out of range.

Wittmann throws a right hand that Suari ducks under and follows up with a left that Suari also avoids with ease.

Suari has Wittmann pressed against the cage, preventing Wittmann from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Suari shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Diem Suari has been cut.

Wittmann throws a combination. Suari tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wittmann scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Suari doesn't seem bothered though.

Wittmann lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Suari tries to move into range but Wittmann moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Wittmann connects with a right hand. Suari shakes it off.
Nice straight punches there by Wittmann. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wittmann.
Wittmann fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Suari looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Suari looks gassed!
Wittmann avoids the head kick by Suari.
Suari fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Suari takes one to the side of the head.
Wittmann lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Suari backs up against the cage.

Wittmann lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wittmann scores with a nice strike.
Wittmann cracks a nice hook into Suari's ribs.
Wittmann is looking to land body kicks.
Suari takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Michael Wittmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suari walks into a stiff left hand from Wittmann.

Wittmann lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Suari is still on wobbly legs! Can Wittmann finish him?
Wittmann cracks Suari with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Suari tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wittmann pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Suari is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Wittmann!
