The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lei gets slowly back to his feet.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones works the jab nicely.

It looks like Chanarong Lei has been cut.

Lei closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jones is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lei is keeping busy.

Lei escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lei shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lei wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.

Jones is looking to control Lei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
Lei is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lei tries to stand and escape but Jones is controlling the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lei is breathing heavily.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lei.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lei looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lei misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Lei bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gregory Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones scores with a hook to the body. Lei takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jones to score with a decent uppercut.
Jones connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lei tumbling to the canvas! Jones pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lei was done - good stoppage!
