PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saku Vuorinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kegan Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vuorinen comes to the cage accompanied by Nevermore - I am the Dog. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saku Vuorinen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kegan Williamson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vuorinen dodges the punch combination from Williamson.
Vuorinen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williamson tries to avoid it but Vuorinen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williamson to the ground. Williamson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williamson swings for the body but Vuorinen moves out of range.
Williamson lands a slapping body shot.
Vuorinen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vuorinen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Williamson is trying to defend but Vuorinen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williamson tries to roll over but Vuorinen keeps him under control.

Vuorinen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Williamson wants to get back to his feet.
Williamson trying to control but Vuorinen postures up.
Vuorinen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Vuorinen trying to mount his opponent but Williamson defends it.
Williamson is looking to improve his position.
Vuorinen trying to advance position but Williamson counters by regaining guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Vuorinen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Williamson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Vuorinen cracks Williamson with a big elbow.
Williamson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Vuorinen is controlling him well.
Williamson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williamson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Vuorinen.

Williamson is pressing down on Vuorinen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Vuorinen is holding on for now.
Williamson is looking to take a break and control but Vuorinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Williamson content to control rather than advance.
Vuorinen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Williamson is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Williamson is trying to control. Vuorinen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Williamson throws an overhand right that lands on Vuorinen's shoulder, as Vuorinen tries to avoid the shot.
Williamson throws the kick towards the body but Vuorinen avoids it.

Williamson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Williamson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vuorinen throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Williamson is looking to take a break and control but Vuorinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vuorinen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vuorinen tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vuorinen tries to roll over but Williamson keeps him under control.
Vuorinen is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kegan Williamson dominated that round.

Williamson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vuorinen manages to avoid it.
Vuorinen takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williamson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Williamson cracks Vuorinen with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
