The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aetius closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kensing has hold of Aetius's hands but Aetius slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Aetius is trying to work for a kimura but Kensing is defending well.
Kensing keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Aetius is stalling here. Kensing is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Aetius seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kensing has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Kensing lands a head kick. Aetius smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Aetius feints and as Kensing raises his hands in defense, Aetius changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aetius drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kensing looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kensing looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kensing!

Aetius tries to bench press Kensing off him but Kensing keeps the position.
Kensing slows the pace down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kensing wants to control but Aetius is keeping him busy.
Kensing is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kensing throws a low kick, looking for Aetius's leg but Aetius calmly moves out of range.

That was a close second round but I would say that Flavius Aetius will probably get the nod.
